* The Feast of the Holy Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ is always January 1st. On Sunday, 1 January 2012, we will have one Mass only at 10:00 am.
The Feast of the Epiphany is Friday, January 6th. We will offer the Mass for the Feast of The Epiphany on Wednesday, 4 January 2012, at 7:00 pm.
The Parish Office will be closed on 26 December 2011 and 2 January 2012.
The Church School Bible Study class (High School through Adult) on Sunday mornings at 9:00 is in recess during the Christmastide break. It will resume on Sunday, 8 January 2012.
Parish Announcements
Our Church School Bible Study class for High School through Adult ages meets on most Sundays at 9:00 am
We will continue to offer the “First Wednesday Free Soup Supper” on 4 January, 1 February, 7 March, and 2 May, at 6:00 pm, before the 7:00 pm Mass.
The St Gregory Choir practices on most Wednesdays, after the midweek Mass, during the ‘program year.’ Singers are welcome. Please see Dr Stephen Lancaster if you are interested in joining the choir.
The Forty-Eighth Annual Parish Meeting will be on Sunday, 29 January 2012, following the 10:00 AM Mass. There will be only one Mass that Sunday. A soup lunch follows the meeting.
On Shrove Tuesday, 21 February 2012, the Women of the Parish will once again offer their annual Italian Supper, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. More details about this annual event will be posted later.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 22 February 2012. Mass, with the Imposition of Ashes, will be offered at 7:00 PM.
